_ The 2020 Run 4 Robin 5K:

The scenic Nevers Road Park was the perfect spot for an inspirational 5K race supporting patients and families at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Run 4 Robin welcomed runners and walkers at any level, from the recreational walker to the experienced road runner. Leashed pets and jogging strollers welcome. Thanks to your support, our researchers push the boundaries to develop the best clinical trials for young patients who are bravely battling kidney disease.

The Need You Now Fund was created in memory of Robin Kembla, an immeasurable asset to the South Windsor athletics community, who passed away suddenly in 2015. The fund will further kidney disease research and support families facing financial challenges in honor of Robin’s daughter, Kaylee. Kaylee is battling this disease without her mom, and you can be there to support her and kids like her by joining Run 4 Robin now.
