Packet Pick-up Friday from 10-6 at Fleet Feet Huntsville. 

Official Race Charity Girls on the Run of North Alabama.

We are working on the new certification for the 1 mile.

Huntsville's Fleet Feet Sports invites you to join runners, walkers, ghosts, and goblins of all ages at the Halloween 5K Run and Monster Mile on October 31, 2020 Get crafty and creative and participate in the costume contest or, better yet, compete in costume!

The 5K will begin promptly at 8am with the 1 mile at 9:00am. Awards, for both races and all costumes, will follow the 1 Mile (around 9:30am)

5K Registration Fee:

Through August 31st: $25

September 1- September 30st: $30

October 1 - October 24th - $35

1 Mile Registration Fee:

Till September 30th: $15

October 1st-October 24th: $20

The race is chip-timed so it is a great opportunity to set a new personal records at Spooktacular!

The recommended Packet Pickup is Friday, October 31st from 10am-6pm at Fleet Feet Sports. The last opportunity to pick up your race packet is Saturday morning from 6:15 am-7:30 am at the race start near the Downtown YMCA (101 Church St SW).  Since this is a new location more information will be announced the week of the race.

In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound do hereby waive and forever release any and all right and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, RunSignUp.com, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives, volunteers and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.

I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able to do so and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and course conditions, and waive any and all claims which I might have based on any of those and other risks typical found in running a road race. I acknowledge all such risks are known and understood by me. I agree to abide by all decisions of any race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this race that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that a licensed Medical Doctor has verified my physical condition.

In the event of an illness, injury or medical emergency arising during the event I hereby authorize and give my consent to the Event Director to secure from any accredited hospital, clinic and/ or physician any treatment deemed necessary for my immediate care. I agree that I will be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services and treatment rendered to me including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment and hospitalization. By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above release and waiver.  Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name, voice and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, videographic or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes.

****I understand this is a non-refundable event and all race expenses have already been paid.  We are in an unprecedented situation with COVID-19 in our area and things that are beyond our control.

Given the current situation with COVID-19 that status of large gatherings and events is unclear.  At this point , we still plan to have this event in November.  However, if the current situation does not improve the race could be canceled all together.  Obviously, the current situation is dynamic and things could change at any time.  We will notify any registered participants as soon as possible via email.  We will consider all our options if we are put in this position:

Postponing the event
Converting the event to a virtual event
Deferring to next year
Canceling all together
Please understand if you can not make the event for any reason our agreement clearly states that this is non-refundable.  Thank you for understanding!
