_ The 2020 Merced Cowboy/Vaquero 5K Run:

The Merced County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the Merced Cowboy/Vaquero 5K/10K Run/Walk. This is a family-friendly 5K/10K Run/Walk and Half Mile Kids race. It will start and finish at Merced's Lake Yosemite. The Kids’ race will be contained within the perimeter of the Start/Finish area in the park. The 5K/10K Run/Walk course will be "out-and-back" and will begin at 8am within the park. You can see a map of the course on the link below starting on April 1st.

All those that register prior to June 10 will receive a race shirt.  Those that register after June 10th or on race day, will get a shirt on a first come first serve basis.  The event will take place rain or shine and there are no refunds for no-shows.  Timing and results will be done by Buhach Colony HS Cross Country.  Official results will be posted after the last runner crosses the finish line and on www.RunSignUp.com on race day.    All Kids’ Half Mile participants receive a finisher’s medal!  Age groups for the 5K/10K are as follows:  12 and under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ in Men’s and Women’s Divisions. All Participants will receive a finishers medal.  Snacks and refreshments will be provided for all participants at the finish area.

Race Day Registration will take place at Yosemite Lake at 7:00am. 

Pre-Registered Packets can be picked up June 15 - June 19, 2020 at the Merced County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce office located at 855 W. 18th St. Suite D. OR on Race Day between 6:30am and 7:30am.
