CDO-CATT PROUDLY ANNOUNCES OUR SECOND ANNUAL EVENT PROMOTING HEALTH, FITNESS, AND COMMUNITY FUN - SEPTEMBER 12,  2020! WHETHER A PARTICIPANT, SPECTATOR, OR VOLUNTEER, YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS THIS ONE!  

Spring into action with the CATT for a 5k family oriented Run/Walk/Roll and 10k Challenge Run held in the scenic foothills of the Whetstone Mountains just 45 minutes southeast of Tucson, Arizona. From on-line registration to the OYL chip-timed finish, expect to be treated to incredible views and camaraderie on these out-and-back routes. Add RAFFLE PRIZES for participants, a bit of FRIENDLY TEAM RIVALRY and the fun just gets better!

COURSE:  Both races start at a cool 4300' elevation, on pavement with adjacent grass.  The 5k gains 230' in elevation before participants execute a large sweeping mid-point turnaround to be rewarded with a fast downhill finish!  10k enthusiasts loop the elevation gain twice as they switch multiple times between pavement and trail before making the last turn for the 1 mile downhill finish framed with awesome valley views. Water, sports drinks, and aide stations are provided for your comfort and safety.

WELCOME:  Ages 4 to 104!  Strollers, sport chairs, hand-cycles, and wheelchairs are allowed for the 5k, but animals, bikes, skate boards, roller blades or other wheeled devises are not permitted. Although traffic is restricted to one lane with a pilot car, headphones are discouraged for runner safety.  

PARKING:  I-10 Exit 297 onto J-6 Ranch Road, then follow the signs.  QUALIFY FOR PREMIER PARKING by carpooling with at least one other participant.  Be close to Check-In; Registration Tables; Info Boards; Portable Bathrooms; the Start/Finish Line; Post Nutrition Station; and, of course, the Awards / Photo-Op Corral!

RACE INFO:  NOTE REGISTRATION DEADLINES due to spotty Internet Service on-site.  On-Site Registration is limited to CASH or CHECK only.
