_ The 2020 Monster Mash Fun Run:

Welcome to the Fifth Annual Monster Mash Fun Run and Kids' Free Monster Dash. We are back partnering with Oro Valley Parks and Recreation and its Monster Mash Party. The run will be a Halloween-themed event for the entire family, and we encourage everyone to dress up. 

Each Monster Mash Fun Run participant will receive a GLOW in the DARK finisher's medal and a free meal at the finish line.
FIRST 250 entries will receive a halloween-themed blinky hat. 

Each Free Kids' Monster Mash participant will enjoy:
~A halloween finisher's medal
~A halloween runner's bib

OYL will stream a halloween movie (kid-friendly) near the start/finish line, and Oro Valley Parks and Recreation will provide a halloween festival with games, face painting and pumpkin painting.

The Kids' FREE Run is 1 Mile

Please read the following so you understand how the race will unfold:

The Course*

It will be a chip start/chip finish. The race starts in Steam Pump Ranch, runs through the hayride field before you enter the riverpath to the turnaround in the Oro Valley Marketplace. Before returning across the bridge,, you'll have to eat a pumpkin pie muffin and drink "witch's brew" then run to the finish line. Volunteers will be on the course directing runner traffic ~ where to turn around and where to eat/drink..

Runners will start in waves of 20 participants with a chip start to chip finish time. You are free to start running between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. No one will be allowed to start after 6:30 p.m.

*WARNING ~ THERE MAY BE STROBE LIGHTS.

ALL paid-participants will receive a finisher's medal and a meal.. 

The kids will enjoy a free fun run through the hayride field, up onto the riverpath and then back to the finish line. Each child will receive a bib number and finisher's medal. 

Awards

1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Overall Male and Female Awards. 

**On-site registration will be available on race day from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. for $40, so register online and save! :)
