_ The 2020 Denver 5k:

THE Denver 5k! Denver's Iconic Sloan Lake is the setting for the return of 'THE Denver 5k'. Celebrate with friends and family as you race around the lake in the shadow of Denver's skyline. Group pricing applies; youth and senior pricing are offered as well! Held at the start of September, THE Denver 5k is the perfect 'cool down' to the racing season! Make it an outing as you join fellow runners at our local brewpub after party!

We'll have an Elite Wave to start before the regular start time! This is to ease congestion on those trails. The Elite Wave is open to runners that can run a 5k in 26 minutes or less. The elite wave will start early, at 8:50 am. Overall awards will be awarded to those in the elite wave (based on gun time). All other awards (including age group awards) and ranking will be combined between the elite wave and the regular wave (based on CHIP times). That means, if you start out with the regular wave (at 9:30 am) and race faster than those in the elite wave, you can still WIN!
