_ The 2020 Move Forward 5K & 10K:

The Move Forward 5K/10K is an event created by the Doctor of Physical Therapy students at Regis University as a community outreach project. The proceeds from the event will benefit Canine Companions for Independence and the Foundation for Physical Therapy.

Race Details
Experienced runners, casual runners and walkers, dog runners and walkers and families are all welcomed to participate in this event. This year's event will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2020. Along with raising funds for the Foundation for Physical Therapy and Canine Companions for Independence, the Move Forward 5K/10K has a number of other goals. These goals include facilitating and encouraging physical activity within the community, as well as raising awareness regarding the role of physical therapists in health promotion and wellness. Through the efforts of Regis University's Doctor of Physical Therapy students and their sponsors, we can make this event a race of choice for the Denver community while simultaneously raising funds to support critical research for rehabilitation and providing service dogs to individuals with disabilities.

Race Mission
"As the Move Forward 5k/10k race committee, we would like to create a quality, fun race and event for the Regis and Denver communities in order to promote physical activity and overall wellness within these communities."

Joggers/Strollers
Jogging strollers are welcome in all races.  Please be considerate of other racers and start in the back of the pack.

Dogs
All dogs on leashes are welcome in all races. Please be considerate of other racers.

Please bring your ID
If you would like to participate in the complimentary beer garden following the race, please bring your driver's license with you. Beer will be provided following the event.

Race Day Registration
If you were unable to register prior to registration closing, you are welcomed and encouraged to register at the race! Race day registration will begin at 7:30am.

Packet Pickup
Packets can be picked up at Regis University, in front of Claver Hall, right next to parking lot 4 on Friday, September 20th from 4:00-6:00PM in Claver Hall OR Race Day starting at 7:30AM at the Registration Table in front of the Student Center on the quad.

T-Shirts
T-shirts size will be guaranteed with all registrations by September 11, 2020. All registrations after this date will not be guaranteed their chosen t-shirt size.
