2020 SPRINT FOR MONROE MOVES TO VIRTUAL ONLY!

An Update from the Sprint for Monroe 5K Run/Walk

As you are all aware, we postponed the race from our original date of May 31 to August 30 in March due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. 

However, there is a great deal of uncertainty going forward with large scale events.  The health and safety of our participants and volunteers are at the forefront of our minds as we try to plan our event.  Therefore, we have made the decision to convert our race to a virtual race. 

Converting to virtual will allow us to still hold an event in the safest way possible while still being able to provide much needed relief to charitable organizations in the Town of Monroe.  You will still be able to get a T shirt and run a 5K, just without the crowds and risk involved with our traditional in person event.  You'll still be helping others in town while doing something healthy and positive for yourself.

We hope you will consider joining us, albeit virtually, our our 28th annual

 event this year.
