THE ION BANK CHESHIRE ROAD RACES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED

New Date: October 18, 2020

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Ion Bank Cheshire Road Races have been postponed to October 18, 2020. We look forward to running along the Farmington Canal Trail during the peak of the fall foliage season!

We want to reassure you that the health and well-being of our community is our primary concern. We would like to thank the Town of Cheshire for helping us secure a new date. The cooperation received from leadership from the Board of Education, Police, Fire, Parks, Town Manager, Cheshire High School Athletics and Cheshire Junior Football is greatly appreciated.

We look forward to seeing everyone in the fall.

The Ion Bank Cheshire Road Races is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization committed to raising funds for special needs and community organizations including Abilities Without Boundaries, Best Buddies CT, and Cheshire Lions Club. This is a significant annual fundraiser for these organizations and we are happy that the race was able to be postponed. We thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time and we appreciate your continued support.

Flat & fast scenic half marathon course that runs through Cheshire & Hamden with significant stretches on the historic Farmington Canal Trail. The flat 5K course is run entirely in Cheshire. 1/2 Mile and 1/4 Mile Kids Fun Runs are run on track at Cheshire High School. Post-race party with great food, refreshments, live music from Run for Cover & more! UnitedHealthcare Healthy & Active Living Festival offers family activities and a variety of health, nutritional and medical advice and services.

Virtual race option: we will mail your shirt, bib, and medal (if applicable) to you. After you complete the race from the location you choose, you will need to report your finish time to [email protected]. There will be a virtual race finishers list, but no awards will be available for this option.
