_ The 2020 Heroes Hustle 5K:

The Heroes Self Defense Foundation (HSDF) is a voluntarily staffed nonprofit that was founded in 2018 and is dedicated to saving the lives of first responders, police canines, military police and the community.

The HSDF sponsors effective non-violent survival tactics to compliment Law Enforcement defensive tactics and provide a foundation for First Responder Professionals, keeping everyone safe. The HSDF also sponsors ballistic vests to police canines in need and provide care packages, across the nation, to police canines injured in the line of duty.

The main goal of the Heroes Hustle 5K is to raise as much support and awareness for first responders and their need for survival training and gear.  Money raised from this race will be used to sponsor first responders to attend survival work shops to enhance their defensive tactics, to provide ballistic/stab proof vests to police canines in need, and to provide care packages to injured canines.
