Support Claymont Community Center’s youth programs by participating in this year’s C35K on Saturday, September 26!

Tired of running or walking the same 5K courses in the area? We have created a unique course through the residential neighborhoods surrounding the Center with the start and finish lines right at our front door on Green Street.

Once you are done running, jogging, or walking, we invite you to hang around for a healthy snack to refuel. You’ll also have an opportunity to learn more about the event sponsors and the many resources available at the Center.

The 5K run/walk will start at 8:30 a.m. with packet pickup and event day registration from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.  All participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal.  Prizes awarded for top runners!

We invite everyone -- runners and walkers, old and young, experienced and inexperienced -- to come out and support the youth in the community. You won’t want to miss this event!
