Description
Dawg Dash is a 5 K challenging off-road course with numerous obstacles,
a stream crossing, hills and of course MUD! Old clothes and shoes are
recommended (hint: pockets will fill up and pants without draw strings
will come off). Bringing a change of clothes is highly advised.
Fisher
House/Marine LCpl Christopher Blake Rodgers1All net proceeds will
benefit the Fisher House. The Fisher House provides a "home away from
home" for military families to be close to a loved one during
hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury. "Stocky Stan" Fisher
of The Bull 94.9 Atlanta, is running the Marine Corps Marathon for the
Fisher House to honor the memory of LCpl Rodgers. Griffin native Rodgers
was killed in action in Afghanistan on September 1, 2010; Dawg Dash is
helping Stocky Stan raise money in his name!Awards2Top three teams in
each competitive category will receive individual awardsTeam Category
NONCOMPETITIVE3Just for fun! Teams can have 3, 4 or 5 members.Team
Category COMPETITIVE4Competitive categories include male, female, coed
and paramilitary. Paramilitary teams must wear uniform boots and pants.
Teams MUST have 4 members. All team members must complete each obstacle
and all team members must cross the finish line at the same time.Area

be available.Age Limit6Must be 13 years of age or older to
enter.Children's Challenge7A childrens course is available for the
younger ones that don't want to miss out on the fun (ages 5-12). Online
registration is not available for the Children's Challenge at this time.
They may be signed up by mail, in person at One Griffin Center, or on
race day without late fee using the form that will be posted soon on the
Dawg Dash site.T-shirt8T-shirts are guaranteed for early registrants.
Late registrants will receive shirts and other goodies as available.
