_ The 10th Superhero 5K and Fun Run:

The 10th Annual Superhero 5K/10K/1Mi will be held on February 20, 2021, at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota.

For our 10th Annual Event we are adding a 10K! This is a Foster Care Awareness Event.

More than just a race, the Superhero race brings together child welfare agencies and the community to highlight the nearly 1200 youth who are in local foster care in Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto Counties, while providing a family-friendly event with music, a kiddie zone, food, and giveaways.

We believe that kids in foster care and those who care for them are some of our community's most incredible heroes, which is the reason we have chosen a superhero theme. So don't be shy... come dressed as your favorite hero and get ready for an awesome race and cause!

3) Race day morning, on-site at Benderson Park (Saturday, February 20th, 7-7:45a)

If you don't plan to pick your packet up at New Balance UTC or Fit2Run UTC, plan to arrive early to make sure we can process you through in time to get you to the starting line!

The course is an out-and-back. The 5k race will begin at the southwest corner of the property. 10K course is TBD.

Parking is south of 5k starting line at the southernmost end of the lake. Bridge a Life and 5K signage will be posted for clarity. See parking and course map in the image posted to our Facebook page (search for Bridge A Life).

NOTE: Registrations after 2/11/20 are not guaranteed a shirt.
