_ The 2020 Run with Heart and Stay True to Blue 5k Run/ walk:

The mission of the Run with Heart and Stay True to Blue 5k run/ walk is to promote community unity through raising awareness of amyloidosis in honor of Willie J. Burden. Our purpose is to improve the quality of life by being advocates for health and wellness and striving to encourage active participation from all runners and walkers.

It's our vision to promote healthy living and physical activity to our community, through our community. In doing so, we will host the Run with Heart and Stay True to Blue 5k run/walk and fun run dedicated to Willie J. Burden and his fight with amyloidosis. Our hope is to  inspire students, community members, family, and friends of all running abilities to come together for this local project.
