_ The 2020 EffingHam Jam Hog Jog 5k:

The Hog Jog is back and more fun than before!

Make your way through Effingham's streets and make it back just in time to sample some of Effingham's most fabulous BBQ during the Effingham JAM BBQ Festival.

Along the route, you'll find a bacon station, a donut station, and who knows what else!

This race takes place in conjunction with the EffingHam Jam so stick around to enjoy BBQ, music, and brews afterwards! Head downtown to celebrate all things BBQ for the EffingHAM JAM on July 26th.  Friday night features the popular Hometown Throwdown, including an amateur BBQ competition, live music, beer garden, BBQ samples and more!

The amateur BBQ competition setup will begin at 8 a.m.., and cooking will begin following setup. Judging will take place at 5 p.m., and the public food tasting will start at 5:30 p.m. For more information on partipicipating in the Hometown Throwdown BBQ competition, please visit the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce's website for rules and entry form:  www.effinghamcountychamber.com.

Proceeds from the Hog Jog and Ham Jam will go to the Effingham Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund.
