_ The 2020 CSS Cares 5k & Fun Run:- CANCELLED

The 1st Annual CSS 5K and Fun Run has been cancelled.  When the date of September 12th was selected for the race, it was with the hope that the COVID-19 crisis would have passed and that we could safely hold the event.  Unfortunately, that is not the case.   Cases of COVID-19 are up across the nation, in our state, and most concerning, in our area.  There is no way to hold this event and protect the safety of the runners, the folks we serve, and our community as a whole.  We hope that next year, we will be past this COVID-19 pandemic and that we can look at doing a 5K.  

Please join us for the 1st Annual CSS Cares 5K and Fun Run!   The CSS Cares 5K and Fun Run, benefitting Community Support Systems, welcomes all ages and all ability levels. Choose from a 5K Run/Walk or a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk. Not a runner? No problem! You can wobble across the finish line! All finishers earn a medal. The CSS Cares 5K and Fun Run is going to be so much fun! Come join us and show your support for CSS! You don’t want to miss this one!

CSS is a not-for-profit organization that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. All proceeds will enhance opportunities for individuals served to live, learn, work, and play.

Race Day Registration:  7:30 AM – 8:30 AM

5K Run/Walk:  9:00 AM start

1-Mile Fun Run/Walk:  9:15 AM start

$30 entry fee – includes a CSS Cares 5K and Fun Run T-shirt

Pre-register now through August 29

Price increases to $35 after August 29 with shirts available while they last.  Walk-ins are welcome on the event day but are strongly encouraged to register before the event.
