The Run Lake Max Half Marathon, 10K and 5k in Culver, Indiana combine all race features to make this one of your most memorable events ever! 

Next to the lake at the Culver Beach, the start takes you through downtown Culver, and back to the our community high school, where the 5k heads to Academy Road and to the trail head, while the half marathon heads south toward Lake Maxinkuckee.

Lake Maxinkuckee’s  beautiful rolling terrain is challenging at points as you run the circumference of Indiana’s second largest natural lake.  Views of Culver Academy, abundant wooded areas and pristine clean water, fed by twelve natural springs await you at every turn.  As you approach the final third of the race, the course veers east through historic Maxinkuckee Village, founded in the 1840’s, and home to the Potawatomi Indians.  Tree-lined Shady Lane winds its way back toward the lake, then wraps around Woodcraft camp, concluding with your last mile along the water’s edge before entering the town park again for the finish line.

Post-race awards and music will be held at the Lions Club train depot.  T-shirts are guaranteed to those who sign up before midnight, September 2nd.
