_ The 2020 NIDS Oral Cancer Awareness 5K:

Registration: Race day registration starts at 7 am.
Race start: 9:00 am
Awards: Awards for top male and female finishers in each age category.
Proceeds: Benefits Oral Cancer Awareness
Entry Cost:Early Registration -  $25 entry fee includes T-Shirt. Late registration from September 21st to October 1st - $30  Shirt sizes and availability not guaranteed after September 21st

Race will be held rain, snow, or shine. 

This is a closed course with paved and gravel trails. 

We will have a DJ, photo booth, prizes and sponsor giveaways in addition to a cool race shirt.

RESULTS: 5K race will be timed using on-the-bib disposable chip timing technology.

Proceeds of this race benefit oral cancer awareness.  

An estimated 10,030 individuals, in the United States, die every year from oral cancer. This statistic has remained relatively stagnant over the past 10 years. It is the Northwest Indiana Dental Society's goal to increase public awareness of oral cancer symptoms and risk factors, to increase early detection.
