_ The 2020 Concordia 5K:

This is the 1st Annual Concordia 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.  Proceeds from this year's event will go towards a scholarship fund that is set up in memory of Joe Hemp and Jason Rae.  The scholarship will be awarded to a student at Staunton High School.

Event details and schedule

The event will begin at 2 p.m.  Please arrive by 1 p.m. to pick up your packet information.  Water will be provided to all race participants during the race.  In addition to the race, there will be a Backyard BBQ event going on at Concordia Hall on race day.   BBQ competition food will be served around 4 p.m.  Ribs with 2 sides will be available for purchase for $10 per plate.  There is space to eat inside the Hall or you can enjoy your dinner outdoors under the covered patio. There will also be two bands playing at Concordia on race day.  "Salmon Creek" band will play from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. "Unbroken" will play from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.  Come join us for a day of fun, food, and music.  We hope to see you there.
