Honoring Mothers, Helping Others

Join us for Miles for Moms ─ a special 5K Walk/Run hosted by Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital Foundation, in honor of Mother’s Day! The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 8, 2021 ─ the day before Mother’s Day ─ at Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital. Participants are encouraged to walk with or in honor of their mom.

Funds Raised Benefit Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital

Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is your local hospital. As a not-for-profit hospital, we raise funds each year to strengthen the state-of-the-art healthcare facility we need right here in Goleta. With 24/7 emergency care, we are here for you, your family and your friends whenever the need arises.

Founded in 1966, the not-for-profit Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is licensed for 52-bed acute care beds, admits 1,700 patients a year, receives 24,000 emergency room visits and nearly 30,000 outpatient visits per year. The hospital is recognized for its Breast Imaging Center, the Ridley-Tree Center for Wound Management and the Center for Orthopedics.

Race Day Schedule

• 7:30 a.m. - Race Bib Pick-up & On-Site Registration
• 8:30 a.m. - Warm-up
• 9:00 a.m. - Walk/Run Start
• 10:15 a.m. - Kids’ Fun Run (12 years and under. No registration required.)
• 11:00 a.m. - Event Ends

Cost

• $35 - if registered by May 1, 2021
• $45 - if registered on or after May 2, 2021
• $15 - children 6-17 and under (discount applied at checkout)
• Free - children 5 and under (discount applied at checkout)
