AdventHealth Sebring Foundation Presents: Pink on Parade 2020

We invite you to wear your pinkest attire and rally against breast cancer at our Fourth Annual Pink on Parade 5k run and 1 mile walk!

Whether you run or walk, all proceeds will provide continued financial support for men and women in Hardee and Highlands Counties who cannot afford breast cancer screenings.

Over the last three years, more than 300 men and women, each year, from the community have worn their pinkest attire and rallied against breast cancer. Together we have raised more than $20,000. In 2019, through generous community support and donations, our AdventHealth Sebring Foundation had the honor of presenting a $200,000 check to AdventHealth's Breast Care Center to purchase an automated whole breast ultrasound machine. This state-of-the-art technology has the capability to detect cancer that can be missed in a mammogram screening due to dense breast tissue. Since being installed at our Seascape South Imaging Outpatient Center, the ultrasound machine has been used on more than 200 patients and has spotted mammography missed breast cancer diagnosis. Additional funds have been used and will continue to support men and women in Hardee and Highlands counties who cannot afford breast cancer screenings.  This event and the generous donations would not have been possible without the efforts of our Pink on Parade participants, community members, sponsors and business partners.  

Race Day Agenda

6:00 p.m.- Registration, Packet Pick Up & Vendor Visits

7:00 p.m.- Welcome & Survivor Recognition

7:30 p.m.- 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk Start

8:30 p.m.- Awards & Recognitions

This event qualifies as run number 2 of 8 in the AdventHealth Heartland Race Series

Runners and walkers will receive a participation medal and awards will be distributed for Top Overall Female and Top Overall Male runners. Most Spirited, Pinkest Attire and Largest Group Participation awards will also be distributed.
