Beyond All The Talk - The Louisville Earth Walk

The Louisville Earth Walk, a non-competitive community event including a live 5k walk, at-home participation and virtual programming, moves to Cherokee Park for its fourth year on Saturday, October 24, 2020. 

We invite you to join in support of a city-wide vision where every neighborhood has safe and clean water, air, and soil.  This family-friendly event will celebrate our beautiful planet while raising both awareness and funds for the wonderful organizations in our city that work to protect and improve the quality of life for all of us.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and in order to provide the best opportunities for the public to engage safely, we’ve incorporated more virtual components to our programming.  This includes at-home participation and a walk course that allows participants to spread out along the course and follow current safety practices.

Safety considerations allowing, we will offer a live post-walk celebration including musical performances, poetry and some inspirational environmental messages as well as an "information zone" of exhibitors and a children's play area. 

Please help us make this year’s Earth Walk a huge success by registering today. There are three registration options: the 5K Walk (live at Cherokee Park), the 5K Virtual Walk (your pace in your space), and the Virtual Free Form (run, dance, meditate or . . . .)! Invite your family, friends, and co-workers to join us by participating on October 24 and/or by making a donation today.

Proceeds will be distributed among our 13 environmental nonprofit organizing partners - each of which will be on site to provide ideas and inspiration that you can take back to your home, work place, or community!
