_ The 2020 PGRC Women's Distance Festival 5K and Men's 5K Race:

Join the Prince George's Running Club (PGRC) on SUNDAY August 16th, for a fun, flat, and scenic 5k race on a certified course through Lake Artemesia in College Park, MD.

This event features two races: The women's race starts at 7:30 am. This event is part of the MD Women's Distance Festival 5k Series. A Fella's race will follow, starting at 8:30 am.

Park in lot at Herbert Wells Ice Rink - 5211 Paint Branch Parkway, College Park, MD 20740.

Premium for the first 125 registrants.

Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers of the race (both male and female), and top finishers in 5 year age groups (both male and female).

This is the 40th year of the Women's Distance Festival being sponsored and supported by the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) since 1979 to celebrate the history of women's rights to participate in running events at any distance and at any age. The race culminates the state of Maryland's RRCA Women's Distance Festival Series.

Registration will close on midnight on 08/17/19, and there will be NO race day registration.
