_ The 2020 BG 5K Run/Walk - Running For Recovery in Harford County:

Harford United Charities invites you to run for recovery in Harford County at the Seventh Annual BG 5K Run/Walk at Harford Community College. Proceeds will benefit nonprofit organizations supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness and seeking treatment for addiction. Awards include cash prizes for the top male and female runners and medals for the top three runners in each class. All participants will be treated to a hot breakfast in the Auxiliary Gym - families are welcome!

Entry Fees:

$25 before race day
$30 on race day

The event will be held rain or shine, and entry fees are non-refundable.

Course Information:

The course will start and finish outside of the Susquehanna Center on the campus of Harford Community College, with participants completing a loop around the campus grounds on roads and paved paths. Pets, roller skates, and other wheeled devices (with the exception of strollers) are not allowed on the course for the 5k. Strollers must begin the race in the back.

Awards:

5k:

CASH PRIZES for the top three overall male and female winners!
$150 for 1st Place M&F
$100 for 2nd Place M&F
$50 for 3rd Place M&F

Medals for the top 3 in each age group as follows:

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+

Amenities:

Short-sleeve t-shirts to all registrants who register by October 16th (sizes and availability not guaranteed to those registering after the 16th). Hot breakfast for all participants, and water available at the halfway point of the 5k course. Course marshals will direct racers at major turns.
