_ The 2020 Run Like The Dickens 5K Run/Walk:

When: Sunday, December 5, 2020 8 a.m. Rain or Shine. FREE Dicken’s Kids Dash (10 & under) will take place just before the start of the 5K.

Where: Chestertown Bank, 211 High Street, Chestertown, MD. Event starts and finishes on High Street and will take participants on the Chestertown Rail Trail.

Registration: $25 until Nov 28; $30 after and on event day. Registration starts at 8 a.m. Make checks payable to Main Street Chestertown and mail to TriSports, 2772 Hazlettville Rd, Dover, DE. 19904. Silent Hero: Can't make it to this event but would like to show your support? Register as a Silent Hero!

Awards: Awards to overall male/female and master winners, top 3 male/female runners in categories 10 and under through 70 & over in 10-year age groups and top 5 male/female walk finishers. Ribbons to all Kiddie K finishers. The awards ceremony will take place after last finisher completes the event.

Amenities: Quality "Run Like he Dickens 5K" shirts to all registered participants. Complete results and photos will be posted at TriSportsEvents.Com. Post-race food and beverage will be available after the race.

Benefits: With “A Christmas Carol,” Charles Dickens captured the Victorian revival of the holiday and helped establish our modern observance. Our charming downtown district will offer Victorian-themed food and entertainment to get you into the holiday spirit. Proceeds benefit Main Street Chestertown and the local food pantry.
