_ The 2020 Big Babies 5K - TBD:

The Big Babies 5K run/walk has been established to provide financial support for medical expenses for the care of newborn large animals (foals, crias, calves, kids, etc.) that require treatment at MSU’s Veterinary Medical Center. Medical expenses for newborn animals are generally unanticipated and can be substantial. The Big Babies Fund will be used to cover part of the medical expenses for clients in need. Further, the fund can be used to enhance the educational experience of veterinary students and large animal residents (veterinarians pursuing further training to become specialists) working with Big Babies.

Dogs are welcome to walk with their owners in this event. We ask that you start at the back of the group.

Family Pricing: $70 for 4 people signing up at the same time, valid until March 29th, then $80

Kid Pricing ages 12 and under: $20 until March 29th, then $25

T-shirts guaranteed with entry by March 29th, supplies available as they last after that date.

Awards: Medals for overall and 2nd place male and female, plus medals for first and second place finishers in the following age groups (male and female): 10 and under, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71 and over.

Race Day Registration: 8:00 to 8:45 AM race day morning in Atrium of Oncology Center. Prices same as Late Registration. (shirts not guaranteed)

Packet pick up: Friday 4/10 at Large Animal Clinic Office Bogue St entrance from noon to 5:00 pm (not available after 5pm) or race day morning from 8 to 8:45 am in the Atrium on Oncology Center. 

The race will be chipped timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Playmakers.com.
