_ The 2020 Woldumar's Trail 5K, 10K & Kids 1 Mile:

Join trail runners, hikers and nature enthusiasts from all over Michigan in an amazing 5k/10k trail run to support science education and protect local green space!

The Woldumar Nature Association is a Lansing, MI based nonprofit that engages over 5000 students in outdoor education each year, while protecting and restoring over 180 acres of ecologically significant green space with over 5 miles of trails open daily to the public.

You'll enjoy the beauty of our prairie, pine forest, wetlands, and hardwood forest as you run along the Grand River on 180 acres protected by the Association.

This is a chip-timed event on an amazing course, but MOST IMPORTANTLY your participation supports quality science education that instills passion for the natural world in young people throughout the Greater Lansing Area. Your support furthers our mission: "To educate people about the natural environment."

The course is varied natural running surfaces (no pavement) so we encourage you to run cautiously.

Children's activities are offered during and after the 5k/10k events. Refreshments are provided after the race.

Pets are not allowed on the course. 

Participants may walk with strollers, but should be prepared for steps and varied terrain.

RATES:
5K Run/Walk: $30
10k Run: $40
Kids 1 Mile: $10
*Register as a team of 4 or more before 10/13/2019, and save $5/person on the 5k or 10k!

Long-sleeve tech shirts are available for purchase while supplies last.

Awards: Overall first place male and female. 1st-3rd place awarded in each age group male and female: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.

Packet pickup and Race Day registration day of the event starting at 8:30 am.  PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY SO THE RACE CAN START ON TIME.  There are indoor warming areas available after you check in!

THE KIDS 1 MILE STARTS AT 9:15 AM

THE 5k AND 10k START TOGETHER AT 9:30 AM.
