Hear  FIFE n DRUMS! Kick of your 4th of July in a Healthy way. Race, run, jog, or walk SO CAL's BEST THEMED 4th of July Running race!

Welcome to the Annual RED, WHITE, & BLUE or BREW 4th of July run on 4th of JULY!  Every participant receives an American Flag style race shirt and the BEST EVER CUSTOM CAST FINISHER MEDAL!  CAREN WARE EVENTS are RFID CHIP Timed by ITZ ABOUT TIME and have very cool age division awards and overall finisher trophies. (5 year age spans this time!)  Because of our specialty CHIP Timing, we are able to do staggered starts, if that is still required for everyone's safety.  If not, we will be sending you off in course corrals.  Pick your friends and family!  EVERYONE gets a time, even walkers.  We are passionate about offering  FUN ACTIVITY, Competition, and  SOMETHING for Everybody and every BODY !  

The course is Flat and fast, or slow and easy.  Make it the pace you want it.  The 5k courses has plenty of room, but Strollers must stay to the right!   

EVERY PARTICIPANT RECEIVES:

Custom Cast Finishers Medal (great addition to your collection!)
4th of July designed front and back custom shirt
Chip timed and a custom race bib
Water and fruit at the finish line.  Strawberry short cakes served!
Chance for Age division awards and overall Trophies
A  4th of July themed start and finish area.

Awards: 
Top Three Male/Female Awards. There are “In It To Win It” age categories 3 deep with 5 year age spans:  5k and 10K
1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80&over

YOU get a 4th reward for doing  three SUMMER EVENTS:  Cinco De Miles,  SO Cal Pirate's Run, 4th of July Red, White, & Blue , and the TIKI BEACH 5k/10K are the summer race options. 

EARLY RACE PACKET PICK UP at Golden Road Brewery (Enjoy some food or a good brew)

  (You can pick up for others. No ID required.

Race Day Schedule:  FOR 2021
6:00 am Vendors arrive and set up.
               Volunteers arrive and check in
6:30 am-8:15  Registration OPEN
                Shirts and bibs available for pick up race day 
6:30am to 8:15 am  4th of July Festival Start Staging area.( Social distancing and masks in this area may still be required. )
6:30am to 8:15am  Staggered start times, every 5 seconds if still needed. This may be modified to include corrals of starts.  All participants must be finished with the course by 9:00 for 5k to be in the age divisions tabulation.
9:00 am Times are posted and emailed to every participant 

PARKING:  On the streets around Karl Straus or Angel Stadium by the Big A

Virtual Run: The virtual run race is perfect for those who can't make the race but still want to earn a medal! Participant will choose their own date and location to run the distance on their own through the "honor" system and receive their custom event shirt and medal in the mail. Now your friends and family from across the miles can celebrate and participate with you! Packets will not be available before race day. You will be able to pick up your packets at Early Packet Pick Up location or if you need it mailed, we will mail it the on Wednesday following the event.

Pets: Friendly Pets are allowed and must be leashed at all times and accompanied by a Run /Walk participant.

Stroller: Families can bring strollers, but agree to use at own risk.  Stay to your right.  Note, that only register participants with a BIB will receive a finisher medal. Please make sure your BIB is in the front and visible to the finish line crew. Also, note that the open public may be using the running path our course ends up on.  There will be cyclists and other runners and walkers. 

Race will take place rain or totally sunny! COME SUNNY!  These events are made FUN because YOU are there.
