_ The 2020 Labor Day 5K Run/Walk:

This is race #9 in the 2019 Race the Region Series and replaces the Scarecrow Stampede on the series schedule.

The race course will be a combination of running on paved and unpaved bike paths and be held on gentle terrain.  

Advanced packet pick up will be available at the Extra Mile Fitness Co. on September 4th from 10AM-6PM, September 5th from 10AM-5PM, and September 6th from Noon-5PM

Race Day packet pick up begins at 6:30 AM.  There will be onsite registration available on race morning.  Online Registration will remain open until 8AM race morning! Participants interested in registering race morning can register online prior to coming to the race on on their mobile devise.   

Awards presented to the Top overall male and female finishers, top male and female masters, and top three male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & Under;11-12; 13-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-75; 75+

Shirt sizes and availability only guaranteed if registered by August 26th.

Computerized Timing provided by T&H Timing.

No dogs, strollers, bicycles, in-line skates, scooters, or  wheeled vehicles allowed on the course.

To allow participants to maintain a safe distance from other competitors there will be timing mats at the starting line for this race.   Participants official race times will begin when they cross the starting line.  The starting line will remain open until 8:15AM.  Participants may begin their run anytime during this period.

Awards will begin approximately at 9AM after the last participant has finished.

Unclaimed Overall and Age Group Awards and race packets for individuals that registered but did not participate in the event may be claimed within 14 days following the event at The Extra Mile Fitness Co., 1330 E. Lincolnway, Valparaiso, IN 46383. After 7 days all unclaimed merchandise will be donated or recycled.
