Description
2011 Symphony of Lights 5k:
The 5K Run will take place on Saturday, November 26th, 2011 at Eagle Point Park in Clinton, Iowa. Eagle Point Park is located just off Highway 67 at the north edge of Clinton. The race begins at 4:00 p.m. The gates open at 2:30 p.m. Course Info
The course will be entirely within Eagle Point Park on approximately 2 miles of rolling paved park roads. One mile of the race passes by over 40 major displays and over 500,000 lights. The second mile winds through the most northern loop of the park which overlooks Lake Clinton on the mighty Mississippi. These views provide a truly unique running experience. Other Info
The cost for registration prior to November 11th, 2011 is $12.
After November 9th, the cost is $15.00 and includes a long sleeve t-shirt.
Free refreshments will be available after the race in the lodge.
Age divisions are: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
Prizes will go to overall male/female finishers and the top three runners in each age group-
