_ The 2020 Lime Creek Timber Trot 5 Mile:

Five mile trail run in Lime Creek Nature Center in Mason City, Iowa.  Timed race.  Trail surface varies between crushed limestone and dirt, from 6 ft wide to single track.  Discover the prairie, quarry, meadow, and forest loops on our well-marked race course! Limited to 100 entrants in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions. Register by September 22 to be guaranteed a race shirt!

Saturday, October 3rd, 2020

9am race start.  

Packet pick up and race day registration beginning at 8am on site.

Race located at Nature Center in Lime Creek at 3501 Lime Creek Road, Mason City IA 50401

Due to COVID-19 several changes will be made to our race in 2020:

--masks required except during actual race

--waves of 10 runners will start every minute, beginning at 9am

--indoor bathrooms will be accessible in the Nature Center, however the rest of the building will be closed.  Runners will need to wait for race start outside or in their own vehicles.

--no awards ceremony.  Please return to your cars after you have cooled down at the finish.

--Post-race food/water will be distributed at packet pick-up.

Register by Sept 22 to be guaranteed a race shirt.

We have kept the cost low to runners and through the generosity of our sponsors, your entire entry price will go to The Lime Creek Nature Center for their program use.  For the $25 entry fee, each runner will receive a long-sleeved tech fabric race shirt, post-race refreshments, and a $20 gift card to Wayne's Ski and Cycle.  That's right!  $25 entry that all goes to LCNC, AND a long-sleeved tech shirt AND a $20 gift card to Wayne's!!
