Chanoko Ultras & Trail Run - 50K, 31K & 5 Miles

The Chanoko 50K, 31K & 5 Mile Trail Runs are back on March 13th, 2021. The Chanoko 31K & 50K will start from Auburn Overlook and run to Granite Beach or Beals Point and back after the 31K course. The Five Miler will start and finish at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA. 

Event details and schedule

The Chanoko Ultras & Trail Run
50K, 31K and Five Miles. 

The Chanoko Ultras and Trail Run offer three distances to choose from. Finishers at each event will receive a custom Chanoko Trail Run Finisher Medal, with a Finisher's Jacket for the 50K runners and a Finisher's Long Sleeve T-shirt for 31K runners. Plus each runner in All Three races receives a custom Chanoko Finisher Shot Glass. We will also have hot post race food for all runners, along with an athlete goody bag. Commemorative Chanoko soft-cotton race shirts are availble to pre-order for $15 each.

Each finisher will receive a post race hot meal. Overall male and female Champions in each race will receive special Champion awards and age-group awards will be presented three-deep for all three races. 

Athletes signing up Race Week (March 8-13) will have their Finisher Shirt or Jacket mailed to them. It will most likely Not be available after the race. 

A Shuttle Bus for 31K & 50K runners will depart the finish area at Granite Beach to head to the start line at 7 am. Tickets are available on a limited first-come basis for $15.  

There will be seven aid stations on the 50K course and four on the 31K course stocked with cold water, FLUID electrolyte beverage, Hammer energy gels and Clif Bars, sweet and salty snacks along with Vasoline and first aid.

Bib number pick-up will be available at the start site at Auburn Overlook Park on race morning from 6:30 am to 8 am. Goody bags and t-shirts will be available at the finish before and after the race. 

Race Day Schedule

6:30 Registration/Packet Pick up opens (31K at Start in Auburn)

7:00 Buses begin tranporting runners to start for 31K

8:00 Start of Chanoko 50K and 31K (at Auburn Overlook)

8:00 Start of the Chanoko 5 Miler (at Granite Beach)

A 6 Hour Cut Off Time will be enforced for the 31K and an 8 Hour Cut Off Time will be in place for the 50K.

Refund and Transfer Information

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.

Race for FREE Information

Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $40 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing [email protected] as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.
