Description

In 2011, The Lakeland Rotary Club resurrected the Child of the Sun Jazz Festival and added an urban sprint triathlon to the event.  Feedback from athletes was overwhelmingly positive, and we distributed over $43,000 to charity.   Were looking forward to an even better triathlon for year two!

Unlike most other races, all proceeds from Child of the Sun events are 100% for charity.  Your entry includes a dri-fit shirt, free individual race photos, free pre and post-race stretching, free post-race massages, and free post-race food and beverages including BEER.  After the awards, the band Quittin Time (Playing your Favorites from the 70s, 80s and 90s) will play.
