_ The 2020 12 Days of Christmas Running Challenge:

Races continue to be cancelled or postponed, leaving many runners/walkers missing races and many charities missing out on needed donations. So, in order to satisfy rectifying both of those items, ask yourself "why not another virtual race?"

The holidays are coming up so we need a good Christmas virtual race. So here we are with the 12 days of Christmas Running Challenge. There will be five levels of crazy, each requiring four SEPARATE runs of different distances and each with it's own unique medal (which also doubles as a candle!).

You must complete your challenge between December 2nd and December 13th and submit your virtual results to this page. Here are the descriptions of the five levels of Christmas Crazy:

Level 1 - Elf: You must complete a 1-Mile, 2K (1.24 mi), 2-Mile, and 5K (3.1 miles)

Level 2 - Reindeer: You must complete a 2-Mile, 5K (3.1 miles), 5-Mile, and 10K (6.2 miles)

Level 3 - Grinch: You must complete a 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), 10-Mile, and Half Marathon (13.1 miles)

Level 4 - Santa: You must complete a 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), Half Marathon (13.1 miles), and Marathon (26.2 miles)

Level 5 - BAD SANTA: You must complete a 10K (6.2 miles), Half Marathon (13.1 miles), Marathon (26.2 miles), and 50K (31.1 miles)

All remaining race funds after the cost of the medals/shipping will be donated to a future Boston Marathon charity group, most likely The Hole in the Wall Gang, for the 2022 race.

Registration will be open from October 5th until December 5th. Your runs must be completed between December 2nd and December 13th. Medals will be mailed out after the contest is finished.
