_ The 2021 Live. Laugh. Run 5K:
The Pi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi will be hosting its 11th Annual Sarah Anderson Live.Laugh.Run. 5K on April 17, 2021. Kappa Kappa Psi is a national honorary fraternity dedicated to serving college and university bands across the country.
In November of 2009, The Auburn University Marching Band lost a fellow band member in a tragic car accident. Sarah Anderson played piccolo and was a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, The National Honorary Band Service Fraternity. Kappa Kappa Psi is hosting a 5K run on April 17, 2020 in honor of Sarah. All proceeds from the Live.Laugh.Run. will go directly to the Sarah Anderson Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund allows for our chapter to award a scholarship at the end of each Fall Semester to a deserving band member that best exhibits the qualities of our Fraternity.
Registration is $25 and will be open up until the day of the race, but you must register by April 10th to be guaranteed a shirt. Raffle tickets benefiting our chapter may be purchased by contacting the brothers and Maggie Vick beforehand or when packets are picked up at the race. Refreshments will be given out after the race and the raffle will be held at that time.
The event will begin on the Haley Concourse. Registration begins at 9:00am and the 5k will begin at 10:00am.
If there are any questions please let Terra McCoy, Kaitlyn Hardy, or any brother know!
