_ The 2021 Trent Waldron Half Marathon & 10K Run:

The Trent Waldron 10K & Half Marathon race on May 29, 2021 is fast and flat out and back course set in beautiful Anchorage, Alaska. Race start/finish is at Margaret Eagan Sullivan Park and winding along Chester Creek and the UMed District.

This is a terrific way to kick off Memorial Day weekend and your summer race season. Use Trent Waldron to train for a half marathon or marathon race at Mayor’s Marathon or RunFest later in the year.

Awards
The Trent Waldron Half-Marathon will issue awards based on age graded times (i.e. times adjusted based on age) for the top three male and top three female finishers in both the 10K and Half Marathon. We have age graded awards at Trent Waldron to remind people to think about Marcie Trent and Larry Waldron because their spirit and love for running is out there on the trail with you.

Packet Pickup
We will have a pick-up of your bib, at Skinny Raven downtown, on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Day of race bib pick up is from 7:45am to 8:45am at West Chester Lagoon, West 15th Street between S and U Street.

Start times
Half Marathon early wave at 8am for participants who anticipate needing more than 3 hours to complete the course. Half Marathon start at 9am and 10K start at 9:20am. You must start at your specified time for race-early starts will result in a disqualification (i.e. a 10K runner may not start at 9am with the Half Marathoners).

The Trent Waldron Half Marathon & 10K will count towards the Sleeping Lady Challenge!

The Trent Waldron race benefits Anchorage Young Cancer Coalition and again this year a portion of the proceeds from this race will go to this deserving non-profit.
