It’s that time of the year again!  Time to work off all that food we ate at Thanksgiving dinner and come together to raise money for a good cause during the third annual Wobble After the Gobble 5K Run/Walk!

2019 saw this event raise and donate $1000 to Hurricane Dorian relief efforts in the Abacos and on Grand Bahama Island through an organization called Samaritan’s Purse.  Read more about the work of Samaritan’s Purse in the Bahamas here:

With everything that has happened this year revolving around COVID-19, we thought it would be appropriate if we  donated our funds to an organization in the medical field to either support medical services or provide funds for medical PPE to protect those who are working tirelessly to take care of those who have become infected with the Coronavirus.  At this time, we are still reaching out to potential groups to see who best could benefit from the funds we are raising.

After the race, limited snacks and water will be made available in consultation with health and safety guidelines.  Midnight Oil is also providing each participant over the age of 21 a coupon for a complimentary adult beverage after the race.

What is a virtual 5K?
A virtual 5K is a race you can run or walk anytime and anywhere you like.  

How do I post my results for the 5K?
From now until Saturday November 28th you can submit your official time.
Click the results page HERE.
Click the Submit Virtual Results button on the right side.
Provide your information.
Submit your time.
*Remember this is on the honor system.
 

Will my results count for age group awards?
Your virtual results do not count towards age group awards.  However you can print off a finishers certificate online.
 

Will my SWAG be mailed to me?
YES.  If you run/walk virtually, we will mail out your SWAG post race.
