_ The 2021 East River Athletics - Catch The Falcon 5k Run:

This golf course 5k is held at Wedgefield Golf Club in East Orlando.  The runner's course provides participants with a unique experience to run the golf course fairways creating a picturesque, wide open track that is well manicured and lined with lush cypress trees.  As the event title states, participants will have the opportunity to catch the East River High School Falcon during the event.  Not interested in setting a new personal record?  Feel free to go at your own pace - run or walk your way to the finish line.  After the event, participants can stick around for our awards ceremony, the 1 mile kids' run, and some face time with members of the East River High School community.  This is a family friendly, community event in support of East River High School Athletics.

6:15am - 7:15am   Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration
7:15am                  Runners make their way to the starting line
7:20am - 7:30am   Announcements and National Anthem
7:30am                  Catch The Falcon 5k start
8:30am                  Catch The Falcon Kids Run start
9:00am                  Awards Ceremony
