_ The 2020 Downtown Christmas 5K Run:

The Sportspectrum Tradition that will get everyone in the Christmas Spirit!! Our unique 3 loop course (3.1 miles) takes you through, past, and amongst tens of thousands of Christmas Lights lining the course, lots of Christmas decorations, & Christmas music.

Come out and join us for a HO HO HO good time.

This year Sportspectrum is partnering with Operation Santa Clause and will be collecting toys and donations during packet pick up and on race day. Please help us brighten the lives of some of those children who are less fortunate and donate a *new toy or make a monetary donation to Operation Santa Clause.

Since 1984, Operation Santa Claus, which is a joint effort between Shreveport Fire and Police
Departments along with Townsquare Media Radio Stations, has provided tens of thousands of
LOCAL less fortunate children with Christmas presents. In most cases, the gifts from
Operation Santa Claus were the only gifts these children received and for some, their only
positive experience with law enforcement and fire fighters. 

 Entry Fee: Early Registration thru November 8th— $20.00.

Late Registration - November 9th - December 11th - $25.00.

Late, Late Registration December 12th-16th  - $30.00.

Race Day Dec. 17th entry fee will be $40.00.

***If we have to cancel due to covid-19 you will receive a refund of 75% of your entry fee***

Packet Pick-up: Saturday, December 12th from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, December 13th from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm  at Sportspectrum

Monday, December 14th from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm  at Sportspectrum

Tuesday, December 15th from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm  at Sportspectrum

Wednesday, December 16th from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm at Sportspectrum

Thursday, December 17th at Sportspectrum from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

after that at the race site starting at 5:00 p.m. (next to Rhino Coffee downtown)

All race packets not picked up by the start of the race will be given to volunteers, no refunds, no packets held after the race.

Date & Starting Times: Thursday, December 17th - 3.1 mile Run/Walk (3 loops) begins at 7:00 pm

On race day if you do not feel well please stay home.

Awards: Overall winners and runner-up male and female for the 3.1 mile run will receive a $150 and $75.00 gift certificates, respectively to Sportspectrum.

Age group winner and runner-up will receive special prizes in the following age group categories:

14-under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59,60-64, 65-69, 70+

***Please note that due to covid concerns we will not be having an awards ceremony after the race. You will be able to view your results online and if you are a winner you will be able to pick up your trophy at Sportspectrum starting the next day***

Special Note: No dogs allowed on the course.
