_ The 2020 Paw Paw Rotary 5K Santa Run:

Get into the Holiday Spirit with Exercise & Fun!

The Paw Paw Area Rotary Club is hosting its 7th Annual 5K Santa Run and 1Mile Fun Walk on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Paw Paw Middle School. Proceeds from the Run will be used to further the Rotary Club’s efforts locally & worldwide. 

Each participant receives a 5-piece Santa suit that is worn during the Run/Walk (kids under 12 receive a Santa hat). A $100 donation will be made to Rotary International's WASH program on behalf of the men's and the women's 1st place runners.  Through water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programs, Rotary’s people of action mobilize resources, form partnerships, and invest in infrastructure and training that yield long-term change.

The Santa Run is a fun event for participants and spectators alike.  You’ll be filling the town with Christmas Cheer as one of the hundreds of Santas running through downtown Paw Paw!

Registration 7:30—8:30 a.m.
5K Run & Walk 9:00 a.m.
Fun Walk 9:05 a.m.

Cost

$25 Early Online Registration (until December, 8th, 2020)
$30 Register Day of event (After December 8th, 2020 online registration closed, please register day of the event.)
Under 12—FREE

Everyone’s a winner! The focus of this event is on high levels of participation. Every Santa who participates is a winner whether they just “get movin” or beat a personal record. In addition to your Santa suit, a medal will be presented to each person who completes the Santa Run.

This event is NOT timed.

Registration

Early arrival is encouraged! Registration will be in the Paw Paw Middle School Gymnasium. Pick up your Santa suit and enjoy holiday music and a healthy snack after the race.

Bad Weather

The run will be canceled by 7:30 a.m. on race day if the weather is too severe. There will be no refunds.

Other Information

*Dogs are not allowed on the course.

*All walkers and participants with strollers will be required to wait until all runners have crossed the start line.
