_ The 2021 5K VFW Run/Walk For Warriors:

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6527 in Greenwood, Arkansas, will be hosting a chipped-timed 5K Run/Walk for Warriors on February 27, 2021.  This is a great event for a very worthy cause.  All monies raised will be used to help or assist destitute veterans in Arkansas through the Veterans Villages of America, Inc.  

The 5K check-in will be at Farmers Bank, located next to the Greenwood Police Department.  Starting point will be in front of the Greenwood Police Department.  The route will take you up Bell Road, pass behind the high school and back down Main Street, with a finish at Town Square. 

The race will be officially chipped and timed, we will have many volunteers manning various locations along the route.  There will be medals for winners of the different age groups and door prizes.
