_ The 2020 Santa Claus For A Cause 5K/10K Run:

Put a healthy kick into your Christmas with SO CAL’s SANTA CLAUS for a CAUSE  5K/10K.  It’s the ultimate Christmas run.  

Course times from 8:00am to 9:30am.   ELITE RACE 8:00am males.  8:03 females.  8:10 Masters (over 40) challenge men  8:13 Master Challenge Women

All others: 8:20 to 9:30am Staggered start course times. Pick a time slot and go out every 5 seconds.  Elite awards announced at 8:30a. Open at 10am.

Open age divisions posted at race and online.  Awards available for curbside pick up from 10am to 11am at race site.  Or opt to pay $8 and have mailed to you.

At  IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE  5500 Irvine Center Dr, Irvine 92618  Only entrance open.   Enter in off Jeffrey by Manassaro Farms.  NOTE COLLEGE REQUIRES 
PARKING PERMITS  of $5 per vehicle to be place on each car windshield.  This are available online or can be purchased at packet pick up or on race day.

 THIS YEAR'S EVENT will be a  TOGETHER-APART RACE...meaning we will have staggered start times (Family groups, running groups, or solo persons going out on the course every 5 seconds).  Single file, 6 feet apart Christmas EXPO with Dickins Carolers and SANTA himself.  Chip timed by Itz About Time. Your course times will be tabulated for overall Top Three Places and in 5 year age spans for AGE DIVISION AWARDS.  The difference in 2020 will be a MASKED ASSEMBLED, rather than a MASS ASSEMBLY.  We will still have the same FUN HOLIDAY set up and festivities. You do not need to wear a mask while running. 

Awards:

There are “In It To Win It” age categories 3 deep with 5 year age spans: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80 & over. 

You’ll enjoy Christmas carolers at the start and Christmas music along the course. 

This event is meant to get you in the spirit of Christmas. And it GIFTS  back! Santa Claus with a Cause uses its proceeds to gift those who otherwise would not experience a Christmas and sincerely need staple goods.  This year, more than ever.  If your situation allows, hit the donate button and help us help those that do not have a gifted situation this CHRISTMAS.

This is the Event that Gifts back.

Our gift to ourselves is health, but our gift to others is  hope.  Proceeds from this event are Western Wired to tribes and villages in Africa. The money is used for for Christmas.  Most use for their children's  school fees, shoes, and school materials.  Some medical needs. Others for food for a special Christmas dinner. Santa Claus with a Cause is in its 5th year of providing this.
