_ The 2020 Rehab Reindeer 5K Run:

Hosted by Minden Medical Center Rehab Services, the Reindeer Run 5K is full of holiday cheer and sure to be a jolly good time! Run through the Ridgewood Neighborhood at night and take in the beautiful Christmas lights, decorations and music along the race route – and maybe even see Santa if you’ve been good this year!

STARTING TIME: 6:00 PM on Friday, December 4

RACE COURSE: The course will begin and end at Minden Medical Center Outpatient Rehab (1120 Homer Road in Minden). Participants will run/walk at 5K (3.1 miles) course through the Ridgewood neighborhood.

Registration: Early registration is $25 through November 16. All participants who register by this date will
receive a long sleeve Reindeer Run 2020 t-shirt. Late registration is $30 November 17 – December 4 (Race Day).

Student registration is $20 at any time. Register online or at Sportspectrum in Shreveport (6970 Fern Avenue).

Special MMC Employee Rate through November 16! MMC Employees can register for a special rate
of $20 through November 16 (Registration fee will be $25 November 17 – Race Day).

Packet Pickup: Thursday, December 3, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on Race Day from 8 a.m. – 5:45 p.m. at MMC Outpatient Rehab (1120 Homer Road).

Age Group Awards: A male and female in each of the following age groups will receive awards: 12 and under, 13-18, 19-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-65, and 66+. There will also be a 1st Place Overall male and female award.

Giving Back: We are asking that participants bring an unwrapped child’s toy or book to give to our local Civitan Santa program. They will distribute gifts with the help of our local Sheriff’s department to families and children in need just in time for Christmas!

Post-Race Party: Following the race there will be food trucks, hot chocolate and race awards – so stick around!
