_ The 2021 Nightmare on the Clermont Trails 5K Run:

A Spooktacular 5K Night Run in the spirit of Halloween!  The race starts & finishes at Victory Point.  All new Spook Zones this year will line the out and back course on the South Lake Trail or Lake Hiawatha Preserve

This year you've got a choice between a "spooky nightmare" route and a "friendly, not-so-spooky" route.  To complete your 5K, please select and follow one route throughout the course. 

The Spooky Nightmare route follows trails just off the South Lake Trail around the Hiawatha Preserve Dog Park and Disc Course. It's darker, it's spookier, and has a few twists and turns on solid paths through spook zones.

The family-friendly route stays on the paved South Lake Trail, and  is suggested for walkers and families with children in costumes. "Not So Spooky"  Spook Zones along the route are designed to enjoy Halloween and the fall season. 

Costumed runners will compete for lots of great prizes!

This live event will be conducted under enhanced safety protocols with social distancing in place.
