Are you ready to race the Magic City?  We are ready for you and invite you to join us at one of the premier half marathon events in the South.  This 13.1 mile / 5K / 1 mile  event is the second largest half marathon event in Alabama and the state's most iconic fall running event.  Welcome to Birmingham and we can't wait to see you at Regions Field on November 21, 2021 for the 11th Annual Magic City Half Marathon & 5K.

Over the first ten years our event weekend has been the fastest growing half marathon and 5K in the South! And with perfect running conditions, great swag and tons of excitement on and off the courses, we expect our biggest event ever in 2021!  As and added bonus the 2021 event will offer a two person relay option!

Our events benefit the Ruben Studdard Foundation for the Advancement of Children in the Music Arts and Girls on the Run of Birmingham.

The Magic City Half Marathon Weekend features great swag, post-race craft beer, one of the coolest finisher medals you will find, and of course a fantastic run in the heart of Birmingham.

The marquee running events include The Magic City Half Marathon and 5K as well as the mile fun run / walk for all ages!

All running events will take place in Downtown Birmingham around Regions Field – home of the Birmingham Barons.
