5K Run/Walk & Volleyball Tournament for Mental Health - Miami

Registration Fee: Volleyball Player/Team Captain $25 Adult 5K Run/Walk $25 Family of 4 (2 Adults/2 Kids) $60 Emotions In Motion: 5K RunWalk for Mental Health - Miami is on! Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be a bit different than normal (social distancing practices, hand washing, no mass gatherings) but you\'ll be able to enjoy the same wonderful walk experience for a great cause (supporting SAVE\'s suicide awareness, education, and prevention work) as always. Emotions In Motion: 5K Run/Walks take place in communities like yours across the country, with the proceeds benefiting Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE). By participating in one of SAVE's 5K's you will be raising money for SAVE's many educational programs to prevent suicide through public awareness and education, reduce stigma and serve as a resource for those touched by suicide. Depression is a treatable medical illness marked by changes in mood, thoughts, energy, and behavior that affects more than 23 million adult Americans each year. It is the most common serious brain disease in the United States.

SAVE's  "Loved Ones" Tent is an opportunity for those to share special photos and written memories of their loved ones with others. We encourage you to bring a non-returnable photo of your loved one to the Walk to add to our \"Loved Ones\" Tent. There will be art supplies to make a picture or write a special message to be displayed in the tent.

5K RUN/WALK REGISTRATION To register for this event click the Register Now button to get started! Once you have registered you will have your own personal fundraising page to help you with your fundraising efforts as well as your progress! You must register as a Volunteer prior to the event! All VOLUNTEERS must check-in at * On-line registration closes at 5:00 p.m. the Friday before the walk. However, anyone who would like to participate can register in person at the walk! Please note that walk donations are accepted until December 31st, 2020.

LOCATION & 5K ROUTE This year's 5K will start and end at Tropical Park, 

Pavilion #10. The route is wheelchair and stroller accessible. We will have 4 Volleyball games starting at 9:30 am, with the championship game starting around 11:15 am. There is a large playground for kids and adults to have fun along with food, auction, family, and friends!!
