$1,800 CASH PRIZES (Top 3 M/F Overall - Top 3 M/F Military/Veteran); ALL MILITARY & VETERANS REGISTER FOR FREE! WORLD FAMOUS T-SHIRT AND RACE PACKET!
The 5K run (3.1 miles) is a relatively flat, fast, out-and-back course. The course is USATF distance certified and electronic chip timed. The run course will be shut down to all vehicular traffic making for a safe, fun, enjoyable event. There is a water station approximately halfway through the course with mile markers along the way. There will also be water and energy foods after the race. Participants will also enjoy a truly unique and exhilarating experience by running past our Ride For Freedom motorcycle rally with over 100 bikers revving their engines in support of the runners efforts. A FREE post-race picnic with hamburgers and hotdogs awaits each participant.

Bowen Memorial Scholarship, Inc., along with the City of Marion and countless volunteers and patriots proudly present the 4th annual Run For Freedom 5K & 2 Mile Walk in beautiful Matter Park, Marion, Indiana. The MISSION of the Run For Freedom is to honor and recognize our American soldiers both past and present.
