_ The 2021 Locust #Elfie 5K Run/Walk:
 

A fast & flat-ish course through the Locust Town Center & surrounding neighborhood!  Help us welcome December &  the upcoming Holidays to Locust, NC!  Wear your favorite Christmas attire, prizes for best dressed Elfie!  @excitebikes will be leading the way during the race, course will be marked and we will have our communication dudes readily available on the course...so please don't get lost.  :)

Packet Pick-up will begin Friday, December 4 from 10am-5:30pm @vacanddash in Albemarle, and Saturday, December 5 from 9am-1pm @drconniesmarket in the Locust Town Center.  We encourage you to pick up your bibs prior to Sunday, to eliminate congestion race day!  Reminder about yoga from 1:45pm -2:30pm near the start line, taught by our friends @FlowYoga & @heatherelizabethyoga

Rather than an awards ceremony this year, medals to the top 15 men and women will be given as they cross the finish line.  

Please use parking lots as much as possible on Race Day.  They are located behind the main buildings in the Town Center.  We would prefer you keep the streets along the course as free as possible to ensure the safety of our runners.  Orange Cones will mark the spaces we want you to definitely avoid!

Don't forget about the prize for BEST DRESSED ELFIE.  The winner will receive a dozen cake pops by @sassycakes.  We will have slips of paper for you to enter the Elfie's name or bib number.
