My Kid's Club is taking the 44th Annual Railroad Days 5K Run & Walk in person & online this year! We're reinventing the 2021 race into a virtual event so we can continue to work together to support Johnston County youth. Usually operating as an afterschool program for underserved kids, My Kid's Club has been running COVID programs since March including partnering with schools to assemble and distribute food, educational and emergency resources, delivering care packages with snacks and notes for the kids, and identifying children we feel are at a safety risk to local agencies. We need help from the community to keep offering these and other programs, and to be ready to get back to in-person work as soon we are allowed.

In Person Event - October 2, 2021

The Virtual 5K Run & Walk OR 1 Mile Fun Run will take place any time you choose, any place you choose on Saturday, October 2 or Sunday, October 3. All participants have the option to be timed with a race bib, but recreational participants are very welcome. Only timed participants will receive an official record of their finish time.

The Virtual 5K Run & Walk or 1 Mile Fun Run registration fee is $25 per person, $15 student if with a school team. A short-sleeve Railroad Run race t-shirt is included for those registered before 9/20/2021. 

Shirt and race packet pickup will be held Friday, October 1 from 4:00pm-6:00pm and Saturday, October 2 from 8:30am-10:00am in the parking lot behind Selma Elementary School (311 West Richardson Street). School team shirts and packets will be delivered to schools for student pickup before the race. We are offering shipping for out of town participants for a fee. We cannot guarantee out of town participants will receive their shirt before race weekend.

Corporate Team, Group Team and Sponsorship options are encouraged and available.
