2021 JROTC BackPack 5K

• 5K Run/Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

Nelson County Air Force Junior ROTC is hosting a 5K Run in support of our local community. The event is a service project organized by cadets working towards raising money for the Feeding America Backpack Program. This program provides nutritious and easy to prepare foods to needy students, ensuring they eat over the weekend. Every $120 raised provides a student food an entire school year.
We can’t reach our goal without support from our community.

Our group’s goal this year is $2,400 in monetary and in-kind donations. Every registration helps us get that much closer to a successful event!

Date: Saturday, May 1, Time: 0830, Location: Nelson County High School

$20 online registration, $25 on race day

Awards for top 3 finishers in all categories & overall male/female

• Early packet pick up April 29, 3:30-5:00, Nelson County High School lobby
• Post-race snacks!
• ALL profits go to Feeding America BackPack Program
